Exam notice read on the Arizona Secretary of State New Notary page and the Notary filing page on October 19, 2026. That notice says Pearson, 45 questions, 60 minutes, 80% to pass, $35 for every proctored exam, three attempts, then a 30-day wait, with the manual built into the exam. The same pages still include an older Prometric registration block. A.R.S. § 41-270, read the same day, authorizes the exam and does not set the question count, time, or passing score. The $43 figure on the filing page is the standard commission application fee, not the exam fee. Check the live pages before you pay or book.
What the free practice includes
Quick 10 draws from the free question pool and gives feedback as you answer. Topic practice lets you concentrate on a chapter. The main practice page displays the current free and total bank counts.
What one free full exam means
Anonymous access includes one free Full 45 in the current browser. The reminder is stored in that browser, so it is not a per-person limit. A signed-in free account has one full exam recorded on the server. Full 45 can include Pro questions and shows explanations after submission.
Make the first test useful
Keep a short error log: topic, mistaken rule, correct rule and official reference. Review the relevant chapter, then try topic questions. Ten answers provide a starting point, not proof that you have covered the entire manual.
When to move beyond free practice
If you need more distinct scenarios or further full exams after your free attempt, compare Pro. If your first test exposes a basic misunderstanding, study that chapter first. Buying more questions does not replace understanding their explanations.
Put this guide into practice
Start with a short diagnostic, review the rules you miss, then practice under a timer. Our questions are independently written.
